Charging stations - Easy to charge
We have opened a charging park consisting of 14, 11kw Elli charging stations from Hekla. One price ISK. 3,000 with no time limit, paid by debit or credit card.
The charging yard is access controlled and therefore a good service for Sæluhús customers and electric car users in the vicinity.

EVERYTHING IS CLOSE
Akureyri is a great place to visit, moderately large and moderately small. It is close to everything and also to neighbouring villages. One of the best swimming pools in the country is just a short distance away, not far to Hrafnagils-svimming pool. Hlíðarfjall (ski area) also in short distance away and the Skating Rink near by. What about golf late in the afternoon ? The Botanic Garden around the corner. The Airport is close by, countless interesting Restaurants and venues and a great music hall, can you ask for more?

THE BEST PLACE IN TOWN
Great location makes Sæluhús a popular place to stay. Extremely popular by Icelanders.Quiet and family-friendly environment, away from the hustle and bustle of town life, but still within walking distance of all the best that Akureyri has to offer. Great views and for outdoor enthusiasts a must, there is nowhere better to be except maybe in your own home.

Stayed here for a night. Very clean and warm apartment. All the facilities you would need and expect in a self-catering apartment and more ! Supermarket a few minutes away in the car. I would definitely stay here again and again !

What a great find. We were only here for one night but what a night! The hot tub was awesome, the apartment well equipped, beds so comfortable, rooms spacious, clean......what more can I say. As we were only here for such a short time I can't comment on location, but I highly recommend staying here.
